Certified Personal Trainer
Maci is a deep tissue, neuromuscular massage therapist with multiple years of experience in the therapeutic world. From a young age, Maci was interested in identifying neuromuscular disorders, which led to her interest in medicine and physical therapy. Maci played D1 volleyball and graduated summa cum laude from Radford Universty with a degree in Allied Health Sciences and in 2024, she graduated from Advanced Fuller Massage School. With her experience as an elite athlete and through research studies across multiple educational disciplines, Maci has developed a keen eye for identifying and working to improve postural distortions from overuse injuries and compensation patterns due to pain. Along with being a detailed Massage and Bodywork Therapist, Maci is a Certified Personal Trainer and will work with you to develop a function-specific exercise program to help hold your body in its new, correct posture.
Services
Therapeutic Massage
This is not your typical massage and no two massages are exactly the same. Maci targets acute pain by utilizing deep, myofascial muscle stripping and sports massage stretching techniques. These techniques can temporarily be uncomfortable for the client, but often render remarkable results. She encourages collaboration with chiropractors and physical therapists to discover and treat underlying restrictions that may be contributing to pain.
Personal Training
Similar to Maci's massage technique, no personal training session is the same. Sessions may consist of bodywork on the table, one-on-one demonstration of exercises to help maintain the postural corrections and a review of home exercise programing to help build back strength and range of motion in the body.
Couples Massage
Together, Maci and Jenna offer a 60 Minute couples relaxation massage. This is a full body Swedish massage, characterized by light to medium pressure and rhythmic, fluid movement, with the addition of hot rocks. This offering is meant to elicit a deep relaxation response and flush out toxins stored deep in the body. Please call for availability and booking.
